Youngsters at a Moorlands school have been dressing up in yellow and blue to show their support for those affected by war-torn Ukraine.
The special non-uniform day at St Leonard’s School in Ipstones also saw the youngsters make a donation for charity.
A spokesman at the school said: “St Leonard’s has been supporting Ukraine by raising funds with a ‘Dress in Blue and Yellow Day’ for a £1 donation.
“Mrs Goldstraw has made headbands and brooches to sell which have sold like hot cakes and the children have painted yellow and blue handprints which are displayed on the railings outside the school for passers by to see.”
