Winter wonderland in aid of Autism Pyramid Group

By timesecholife on in All News, Uttoxeter news

A UTTOXETER woman has transformed her front garden into a spectacular winter wonderland in a bid to raise funds for the town’s Autism Pyramid Group.

Town Mayor Cllr Chris Sylvester and Mayoress Cllr Linda Sylvester will officially turn on the lights at the Christmas Garden in Fennel Close today (Wednesday 1 December).

Kerry Price started work on her Christmas Garden early in November, with a view to creating a stunning Winter Wonderland tableau and collecting donations for the Uttoxeter Autism Pyramid Group.

The Pyramid Group was set up by parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in 2015 to offer whole-family support.

The group holds regular Stay and Play sessions as well as parents coffee mornings and social events at venues including Wilfred House, the Heath Community Centre and Uttoxeter Library.

Kerry’s Winter Wonderland will be officially switched on at 4.30pm and will remain on display through the festive season.
