Yobs could be arriving by bus to avoid police
GANGS of youths are catching a bus to carry out vandal attacks in Rocester, according to civic leaders.
Police issued dispersal orders on nuisance yobs following a string of problems with anti-social behaviour in nearby Uttoxeter.
And parish councillors believe the same group is likely to be behind a recent spate of vandalism in Rocester.
They’re thought to have damaged toilets in the village and been responsible a number of other incidents.
Parish Council chairman Nigel Green said: “The police have moved on a lot of young people after problems in Uttoxeter and it looks like they’re now getting on the bus and coming here.
“There have been five or six incidents at the public toilet alone and I would like to publicly thank the lady who cleans them for cleaning up after these idiots.
