(One of the cars following the crash at Town End in Cheadle.) PART of Cheadle's High Street was blocked off on Sunday afternoon following a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.
The Terrace at Town End in Cheadle was temporarily cordoned off following the collision.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: “We were called at 12.20pm on Sunday (8 July) to reports of a two vehicle road traffic collision involving a red Toyota Yaris, and grey Mazda 6 near the Glebe Road junction with Cheadle High Street.”
No injuries were reported, but the road was closed for a short while to allow for recovery of the vehicles to take place and for Staffordshire County Council Highways Department to attend due to a fuel spillage.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We received a call from the police at 12.20pm to a two-vehicle road traffic collision.
“One paramedic was sent to the scene, who assessed two patients for minor injuries.”
Neither needed hospital treatment and they were both discharged at the scene.
The road was temporarily closed with a diversion in place to help aid traffic congestion.
