POPULAR bands from the 80s and 90s are to perform at Uttoxeter Racecourse.
Heaven 17 and the Lightning Seeds will star at a Live Music Raceday on May 19.
Some 1,000 pre-sale tickets for the event go on sale on Thursday, February 1 priced £25 – rising to £30 after February 1. Tickets go on general release on Friday, February 2 (10am).
Following a hugely successful 2017 in which saw Heaven 17 toured America and the UK, the 80s band will entertain the Uttoxeter crowd with a string of hit singles including ‘Temptation’, ‘Come Live with Me’ and ‘Crushed by the Wheels of Industry’.
They’ll be joined by 90s indie-rock legends Lightning Seeds, who found chart success with songs including ‘Pure’, ‘Lucky You’ and ‘Sugar Coated Iceberg’.
