Families thankful for vaccine drive
FAMILIES across Uttoxeter have welcomed the ‘ray of hope’ given by the first mass vaccination event in the town. More than 2,500 doses of vaccine were administered to mainly older people at Uttoxeter racecourse on Saturday, January 23.

“We’ve got to work together to fight this”
A taxi firm in the Moorlands has been providing free transport to vaccine appointments for elderly residents. Cheadle Link Taxis, based in Tape Street, which is part of Leek Link Taxis, is offering free journeys to vaccination centres for the elderly in both towns.
