The deadline for residents to take part in a survey focusing on the regeneration of their town has been put back. The extension from September 3 to September 24 for the deadline of the Staffordshire Moorlands District Council (SMDC) survey surrounding Cheadle comes after concerns were raised that not all households in Cheadle had received the survey – despite SMDC stating last week that they had sent out 5,000 to properties in the Moorlands town.

A council is urging residents in a Moorlands town to have their say about the possible regeneration of their town by taking part in a survey. However, a number of residents in Cheadle have raised concern that they have not yet received a copy of the survey and accompanying newsletter about the initiative, even though Staffordshire Moorlands District Council has stated that all households in the town should have received one through their doors earlier this month.
