As the Government easing of restrictions continues, Monday (June 15) is set to see the re-opening of non-essential retail shops and the community of Cheadle is keen for people to shop local.

Fiver Fest launch this weekend
A WEEK-long feast of special deals for a fiver kicks off in Cheadle town centre this weekend. On Saturday, members of the town's Totally Locally scheme will be aiming to boost the town's economy by offering a selection of wares for just £5. The Fiver Fest is part of the first nationwide scheme aimed at showcasing how spending just £5 a week in independent stores can drive up local economies.

Totally Locally Reboot
A SCHEME designed to boost independent traders and breathe new life into the high street has been reignited in Cheadle. Businesses in the town centre have joined forces via social media to promote each other online. And, using the Totally Locally Cheadle banner, the traders are hoping to encourage people from far and wide to visit the unique independent shops which make up the majority of the town centre.
