Calling all little princesses and superheroes!
An appeal is being made for all little princesses and superheroes in a Moorlands town to come out in force to help celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. As part of the Team Cheadle town centre event, which is being supported by Creative Cheadle, on Friday, June 3 – there is set to be a Fancy Dress Parade through the High Street – which will be closed to traffic for the day.

Music from across the decades for celebration
A host of music from across the decades is set to be used to entertain crowds at a Moorlands town event. This year’s Party in the Park, which is organised by Leek Town Council, is set to have the added celebrations of joining in on the nation’s events for the Queens’ Platinum Jubilee.

No road closure for street party in town centre
A council has opted against implementing a full road closure in their town during June’s jubilee celebrations via a majority vote after intense discussions in council chambers. The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee commemorations in Cheadle are being organised by Cheadle Town Council across the national bank holiday weekend of June 2 to June 5.
