A PARISH council's bid to register a former police station as a community asset has been turned down by Staffordshire Moorlands District Council. Forsbrook Parish Council applied to register the former police station, secure houses and car park located on Uttoxeter Road in Blythe Bridge into an 'asset of community interest.' The scheme allows communities “to suggest buildings and land (assets) they consider to be of value to the community, to be included on a list maintained by the local council.”
