A large town centre planter, which is used to help brighten up a Moorlands town with flowers, has been stolen. And the culprit(s) who took the barrel style planter from Town End in Cheadle not only stole the continuity-owned plastic tub but also emptied out all the soil onto the the area where it had stood. The planter had been purchased by volunteer group Cheadle in Bloom some years ago, along with many others which are situated across the town centre and are planted out each year to bring floral joy to the Moorlands town.
