Support service could lose funding

A community support service that is greatly relied upon by many in the area has told the Times & Echo it again faces uncertainty and could lose tens of thousands in funding from the North Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent Clinical Commissioning Group next year. Moorlands Home Link helps more than 200 elderly people a week through various support services which includes a day centre in Cheadle and Meals on Wheels, as well as a Befriending and Phone Link Service.
