Petition for speed reduction in town
A second petition containing 1,000 signatures asking for a reduction of the speed limit in a Moorlands town centre has been submitted to Staffordshire Country Council (SCC). Leek resident and local businessman Roger Warrillow began a petition earlier this year, asking for the county Highways Department to consider introducing a “20 mph speed limit in Leek town centre.”
