A pub in the Moorlands is set to host a Remembrance Day auction on Sunday, November 14 to raise funds for a military charity. The Blacksmith Arms in Kingsley Holt will put on the 3pm event in honour of the Lee Rigby Foundation, a charity which is based in the Moorlands.

A team from a Moorlands pub have raised £600 for charity after completing an energetic challenge. Danni Molloy, who runs the Blacksmiths Arms in Kingsley, was joined by Laura and Debbie, and two pooch pals, in a self-set challenge to walk more than 100 miles each during the recent second national lockdown.
