Charity cycle challenge for couple
A couple in the Staffordshire Moorlands are doing a sponsored cycling trip in France to raise money for a day centre that provides care for their daughter. Paul and Pamela Stoddard, from Cheadle, are challenging themselves in their attempt to ride to the summits of two major iconic mountains in France in August this year.

Ensuring members stay connected during lockdown journey
A community organisation has been ensuring its members have stayed connected during the current surreal situation of the coronavirus pandemic. EqualBase, which has been running in the Moorlands for three years, is a Community Interest Company which is situated at The Old Library in Leek Road, Cheadle.The service offers fun and meaningful day opportunities and activities to adults with learning disabilities. Staff support the members in working towards their chosen outcomes.
