Dog show in memory of Kathleen

A FUN day is being held in memory of a Moorlands woman who sadly lost her battle with cancer. Kathleen Dyas, who lived in Blythe Bridge, passed away in August 2016 at the age of 66. Her daughter, Liberty-Skye Dyas, has since been fund-raising in her mum's memory and has already raised more than £6,000 for charity by hosting dog shows.

MORE than £40,000 has been raised by Cheadle people in support of a town hairdresser. Duncan Cowan has been a supporter of the Douglas Macmillan Hospice over the past 42 years. Since 2010, he has taken an even more active role in raising funds for the charity – and this year his total has reached a whopping £33,000.
