Council vote to postpone park event
A community event set to take place on a town’s park this month has been postponed. A number of Cheadle Town councillors, with help from members of the community, had been working towards hosting a family fun event at Tean Road Recreation Grounds this coming weekend in conjunction with the last few days of this year’s Cheadle Wakes fun fair.

More members step down from Voice for Cheadle group
More members of Voice for Cheadle have stepped away from the group following a meeting about who was to be their town’s next civic leader. The recent resignations from Voice for Cheadle came after the recent meeting of Cheadle Town Council when it was voted that councillor Sue Walley would be the next Mayor of Cheadle.
