Advice service to end in town

UTTOXETER is set to lose a much-valued advice service – as the area's Citizen Advice charity is to close. After 26 years of providing vital help to residents, Citizens Advice Mid Staffordshire will be closing its doors on March 31 – due to acute funding pressures. With its main advice centres in Burton and Tamworth, the charity has also been offering outreach sessions to Uttoxeter residents from the town's library every Wednesday.
