A Cheadle author has hosted a sea-faring story telling event at a Moorlands library. Sue Brunt, aka Nanny Sue, was at Cheadle Community Library on Saturday (August 14) for a story session all about her book ‘Jack, The Pirate with a Secret.’

A town’s library is set to offer additional services as it continues to re-open following the Covid-19 lockdown. The additional services at community run Cheadle Library in the town’s High Street are set to include: access to public computers, printing, photocopying and browsing for books.

A town library is set to be re-opened next week – following temporary closure due to the coronavirus pandemic. Cheadle Library, which became community managed last Summer, is set to re-open it's doors on Monday (August 10).
