A LICENCE has been granted for work to start on creating an ‘Area of Reflection’ around Uttoxeter’s War Memorial. COMMUNITY organisations are joining forces to campaign for an 'Area of Reflection' in their town centre. Uttoxeter Town Council, the Uttoxeter branch of the Royal British Legion and the area's Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal are urging members of the public to support the incorporation of an 'Area of Reflection' adjacent to the Uttoxeter War Memorial. The campaign is starting with the launch of a 'Signatures of Support' petition which will be handed to Staffordshire County Council, and any other relevant authority.
