Bands join forces to parade together
A scout and guide band in the Moorlands is joining forces with another band in Staffordshire to parade at community events together. The 5th Leek Scout and Guide Band is collaborating with the Stone Scout & Guide Band, and joint rehearsals have begun.

Band appeals for more members
A marching band in the Moorlands is making an appeal for new members to keep the band going. The appeal has been made by the 5th Leek Scout and Guide Band which has been going since the 1960’s.

Proud day for Moorlands band in the capital
A marching band from the Moorlands has, once again, taken part in a national parade in the capital. The 5th Leek Scout and Guide Band travelled to London on Saturday (November 13) to join other bands from across the country to take part in the Corps of Drums Society contribution to the Lord Mayor’s Show.
