RESIDENTS are getting ready to flock to their favourite town festival this weekend as part of a major fundraising event, raising money for potentially lifesaving screenings.
Rebranded, new for 2018, is the Uttoxeter Lion’s annual Beer Festival, which is hot anticipated by townsfolk every year.
Now known as Party on the Pitch, the weekend celebration at Oldfields Sports and Social Club promises a stellar line-up of acts, including one of the area’s leading Robbie Williams tributes.
The two-day beer festival attracts hundreds of visitors each year with money raised going towards an annual prostate cancer screening event, hosted by the Lions.
This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with an impressive range of 24 real ales and 12 ciders and perrys alongside a Gin and Prosecco Bar.
