TOWNSFOLK are being urged to have their say on plans for a major housing development in Cheadle.
Persimmon Homes (North West) last week unveiled a proposal that would lead to 300 new houses and a school east of Froghall Road.
And a town councillor now wants residents to give their views on the scheme in a bid to ensure he represents the majority view.
Persimmon has submitted details of a scheme to build 125 properties to Staffordshire Moorlands District Council.
It has also applied for outline permission for 175 homes at the site, which is north of Ayr Road and Cheltenham Avenue.
The 12.5 hectare site is described by the district council as the ‘Cheadle North Strategic Development Area’ within the draft Local Plan.
