RESIDENTS are being urged to help draw up a blueprint for the future of their village.

Community leaders in Draycott are keen to develop a neighbourhood plan – setting out ideas and targets that will shape the development of the area in years to come.
They’ve set up a steering group to oversee the project and appointed an independent expert to steer them in the right direction.
But they’re determined to get more villagers involved and have this week launched an appeal in a bid to drum up interest.
An initial meeting was held last week and a second will be held at the church hall in two weeks to finalise the steering group and start work on an action plan.
Parish clerk Kate Bradshaw said: “The neighbourhood plan will give residents more of a say about what happens in the village.
“It will help set out ground rules for any future development so it’s very important we get it right.
