SCHOOLCHILDREN are to join the line-up of a Christmas concert at Cheadle Methodist Church. Youngsters from Bishop Rawle Primary School in Cheadle will be supporting Cheadle and District Choral Society at their festive evening 'Christmas is Coming' on Wednesday, December 12. Under the direction of conductor Natalie Windsor and accompanied by pianist Rahna Windsor, the chorus have been rehearsing seasonal favourites and popular carols for the audience to join in with.
The group also welcome Fiddlers4, a string quartet with popular violinist Sarah Ratcliffe along with Frank Burslem, also playing violin, Alison Wainwright on the viola and Sally Walker on the cello.
Christmas is Coming promises an evening of musical entertainment at Cheadle Methodist Church on Wednesday, December 12 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £6 for adults and £3 for children and are available from Donald Cope Estate agents or from society members, although guests can also pay on the door.
