A VILLAGE pub has been ordered to clean up its act following a damning report by food hygiene inspectors.
The Old Bramshall Inn, in Stone Road, was told major improvement is necessary after being handed a rating of just one out of five.
Officers linked to East Staffordshire Borough Council ordered the pub to take a number of immediate actions following an inspection last month.
Internal surfaces to a microwave were found to have food stains on them, while ‘quite a few flying insects’ were attached to an insectocutor.
