REVELLERS are to toast a popular Cheadle pub celebrating its 50th anniversary in the town.
The Master Potter, in Tean Road, has been one of the busiest venues in town since it was first opened in 1968.
Now the Hungry Horse pub, owned by Greene King, is to mark its half-century with a busy weekend of family entertainment including a tribute act and a disco.
Rebecca Mann, new general manager at the pub, said: “The Master Potter has a special place in many people’s hearts and it has been a big part of the community for 50 years now.
“We are putting on a weekend of celebrations to celebrate the milestone and look forward to welcoming customers old and new.
