VIKINGS are set to take over the main arena at Cheadle's annual Party in the Park.
The Viking encampment is just one of the major attractions at the annual event on Sunday, August 5.
Stuntman, Dangerous Steve, will also be thrilling crowds with his daring feats, while Cheadle Community Band will be providing live music throughout the day.
As well as the usual array of stalls, games and attractions, Warwick’s Funfair will offer a range of rides and carousels.
Little Billy the train and Inflatable World will be on offer alongside donkey rides and activities including archery and a climbing wall.
A chef from Rudyard Hotel will be giving a cooking demonstration in the main marquee where home and handicrafts, horticulture and artistry will be in display as part of the various classes and competitions run on the day.
And while the usual hog roast and burger van will be on hand, this year, Dolly Bird catering will also be offering vegetarian and vegan options.
Party in the Park is at Tean Road Recreation Ground, Cheadle from midday on Sunday, August 5 with the official opening at 1pm.
