Police appeal for witnesses
A PILLION rider was left with serious injuries after the motorcycle she was passenger on came into collision with an Audi car.
Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a yellow Yamaha motorcycle and a black Audi s3, on the road between Abbots Bromley and Uttoxeter near to Five Oaks Cottage.
The collision happened at around 2.15pm on Sunday 11th June, and left one passenger seriously injured.
A 19-year-old female pillion passenger from the motorcycle was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital by Air Ambulance with serious injuries.
The 52-year-old male rider was also taken to hospital by ambulance but has since been discharged.
The occupants of the Audi all escaped the collision uninjured.
The road was closed for around four hours whilst a forensic examination of the scene took place.
Staffordshire Police are appealing for any witnesses who might have seen either of the two vehicles involved or the collision itself to get in touch on 101 quoting incident number 422 of 11th June.
