Pensioner hit by health scare now plans fund-raising run

By timesecholife on in All News, Featured News

A DENSTONE pensioner is preparing to take part in a charity run just weeks after surviving a terrifying health scare.

Thomas Wainwright escaped serious injury after being hit by a stroke thanks to the quick-thinking actions of wife Susan.

Thomas, a grandfather of six, was at home in College Road in January when he suddenly lost peripheral vision in his right eye and the feeling in his right arm.
