Don't Forget This Sunday at Tean Road Recreation Ground

THE 2017 Party in the Park promises to be the best one yet, with a host of attractions and entertainment galore.
As always, it will be an entirely free to enter event, with many attractions also free of charge.
Plans have been in motion for the past several months, ready for the event, preparing for a day of family fun, this Sunday, 6th August at Tean Road Recreational Ground in Cheadle.
The main attraction for the arena will be a five man BMX display team and a sheepdog display with duck herding.
There will be a number of attractions for all who attend to take part in and enjoy, including a climbing wall plus an array of inflatables for the children, a falconry display for everyone from kids to the grown ups to admire.
The event will be lined with stalls, from gifts to sweets, to jewellery and facepaint, as well as an array of refreshments on offer.
The thrills of Warwick’s Fun Fair will also be there, entertaining those young and old with the mixture of different rides and stalls.
If you think you are the best vegetable grower in Cheadle or a surrounding area, why not enter the Vegetable Show?
Do your baking skills mean you could be the top cake, jam and chutney maker?
There are up to 25 classes to enter your exhibits.
If you are interested in taking part in any of these categories – ranging from vegetables, cakes, jams and chutneys – the full list of categories, rules and entry form can be downloaded from the website under the heading Whats On? or contact the town clerk on 01538 754288.
The Annual Kingsley and Moorlands Fuchsia and Geranium Show will be taking place in the marquee with colourful displays coupled with Cheadle Flower Club exhibiting on the day.
Bookings can also be made for your trade or charity stall, forms can also be downloaded from the website.
Don’t forget, the official opening takes place at 1pm by The Mayor of Cheadle, Phil Routledge.
