Council fails to help family after fire
NINE children including a five-month old baby were forced to find shelter with family and friends following a fire at their home.
Erin Wilson and Colin Mellor were advised their youngsters could not return to their house in Tean after a blaze on Friday night.
And the couple, of Draycott Road, were left desperately trying to find beds for the children after being told emergency accommodation was ‘unavailable’.
