A Moorlands mechanic is making models with proceeds going to charity.
Tim Cliffe began making models with his son Jack for something to do together during lockdown.
Tim, who lives in Cheadle, said: “I’ve had numerous folk asking me to make different things, I’ve decided I will make them and whoever they are for will get the model and not pay me a penny.
“All I ask is when you get your model and you decide how much it’s worth. Once you have a price in mind, donate that to a local charity of your choice.”
He added: “All charities have suffered during Covid-19, every little bit helps.
“I work all week so weekends only will be for making models. I will try and complete all orders. Not much else to do in lockdown.
“My six-year-old lad Jack helps to make them with me.
“This started out just something for me and Jack to do during lockdown.”
Anyone interested in having something made by Tim, can either contact him via Facebook messenger, or call him on 07812 356934.
