The incident happened just before 9pm last night (Thursday, June 16) in High Street, Cheadle.
The town centre was blocked off for some time while emergency services dealt with the incident.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a fire at a property and a patient having jumped from a window on High Street, Cheadle at 8.53pm last night.
“One ambulance, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car and two BASICS doctors attended the scene.
