A MARCHINGTON woman is among growing numbers of dog lovers who have complained to the RSPCA about the sale of puppies.
More than 120 people in Staffordshire alone reported issues with unscrupulous traders last year.
And Kerry Miller has this week told of her own troubling experience after contacting a breeder online.
The single mum was looking for a Pomeranian puppy for her three daughters.
She said: “When we saw the puppies they didn’t seem like your typical, mischievous pups.
“The little girl we were interested in was lying in his arms, very calm and sleepy. He told me she was nine weeks old and had been treated for fleas and worms.
“I asked to see mum but he told me she was out being walked.
