A CHIP shop owner from Cheadle has pleaded guilty to charges of assault and having a blade in a public place.
Alikemal Acer, 33, of High Street, appeared before Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court yesterday (Tuesday August 28).
He pleaded guilty to committing an assault on a person occasioning actual bodily harm and the possession of a bladed article in a public place following an incident in Cheadle town centre on Monday, February 12.
Acer is set to return to court for sentencing on September 25.
