A much loved donkey in the Moorlands has helped set the scene for a Christmas event.

Frankie, and her owner Jim Plant, recently visited St Giles the Abbot Parish Church in Cheadle to take part in the church’s Children’s Carol Service.

Frankie and Jim often visit community events around the area throughout the year.

Jim said: “On Christmas Eve, Frankie went to greet all the Kings/Wisemen and Shepherds to the children’s Carol Service at St Giles the Abbot Parish Church.
