A TOWN councillor has been left up in arms over the return of flooding problems at a road in Cheadle.
Cllr Richard Alcock thought his long-running campaign for improvements at Eaves Lane had been successful when drainage work was carried out 15 months ago.
But heavy rain over the festive period left the area flooded once more and Cllr Alcock is now calling for the issue to be resolved once and for all.
He said: “Eaves Lane has been badly affected by flooding issues for decades – I’ve been asking for it to be sorted out for 27 years.
