A POPULAR farm shop and cafe is celebrating this week after receiving a 10th five-star rating from food hygiene inspectors.
Family-run Denstone Hall, which also runs a bakery, delicatessen and butchery operation at its premises in the village, was deemed ‘very good’ in a RateMyPlace report published online.
Minor repairs to a walk-in fridge and the upkeep of documentation were among only minor concerns listed in the report.
Owner Rupert Evans said: “We’ve held the five-star rating for over 10 years now since we opened.
“It’s an accomplishment in itself, but it also provides peace of mind for our customers as the RateMyPlace scheme is a well-established initiative backed by East Staffordshire Borough Council.
