A broadband Company is continuing its construction of a new full fibre network in the Moorlands.
Once completed by LilaConnect, it is set to provide 11,750 homeowners and businesses in Leek with “lightning-fast, stable internet connections.”
A spokesman for the company said: “It’s expected that the first homes will be able to connect to this new network by June this year.
“With all homes and businesses across the market town being able to have access to this gigabit full fibre network by the end of 2022.”
This picture shows part of Cruso Street, one of the Leek streets which was being worked on Tuesday, March 8.
Residents and businesses interested in connecting to the new LilaConnect full fibre network can register their interest at www.lilaconnect.co.uk.
