Fees frozen for Uttoxeter market traders

By timesecholife on in All News, Latest News

PITCH fees for outdoor market stalls in Uttoxeter are to remain the same for another year as part of a drive to encourage traders.

Members of Uttoxeter Town Council agreed to a series of recommendations from its markets committee regarding rents for indoor and outdoor stalls.

Rates for stalls at the town hall’s indoor craft and produce market will increase from £10 to £12.50 for a single table and £16.50 to £19.50 for double tables.

Charges for a plot on the outdoor markets held on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays will stay the same.

But councillors agreed to investigate possible business rate relief for those on the Wednesday market.
