Summer Fayre at Blythe Centre

7th July 2018

CELEBRATE all things summer at Blythe Centre this month as staff and volunteers hold a number of events.

Visitors to the centre can enjoy arts and crafts every day, with the chance to simply drop in and paint a pot, design a keyring, decorate a money box and more, from 50p to £2.50.

On Tuesday, July 31, from 10am to 12pm, little ones can have plenty of fun with the art and craft supplies with expert tuition. All ages are welcome and prices range from 50p to £2.50.

Later that day, between 1pm and 3.30pm, children older than eight years old are able to join in and get creative with weaving, creating small embellished bags from £4.50 – with payment on booking.

Youngsters will also be able to get involved in the summer reading challenge, which takes place each summer holiday.

This year’s reading challenge is titled ‘Mischief Makers’ – keeping little bookworms entertained throughout the holidays, volunteers will also be running some mischievous activities during the break.
