Youngsters at a village school in the Moorlands have been enjoying some seasonal fun ahead of breaking up for a two week holiday.
Pupils at Horton St Michael’s First School in Rudyard have been getting creative with a variety of Easter focused activities, taken part in the traditional Easter Egg Hunt, as well as hosting an outdoor celebration where family members were invited to watch the show.
A spokesman for the school said: “The children have spent the morning creating Easter crafts.
“They have been working in their houses so it has given the children chance to work with children from other classes.
“Everyone has had lots of fun and created some beautiful Easter crafts along the way.
“Maple class children (Year 3 and 4) were praised by all of the staff for looking after and helping the younger children so well.”
They added: “We also welcomed parents and carers into school to join us for our Easter Celebration.
“The children really enjoyed sharing the Easter songs which they had been practicing for the last few weeks.
“We hope that everyone has a fulfilled Easter holiday.”
