EIGHT Dove Valley swimmers competed in the Staffordshire County Championships at Stafford Leisure Centre.
Leading the pack was superstar Olivia Gregory, 13, who had a great meet last year and was hoping for a good start to the championships.
She achieved a club record in each of her three races on the opening day in making the finals where she got more personal bests and bettered all three of the club records set in the morning.
In the 100m backstroke she got a silver medal with her club record time of 1:09.57; in the 50m butterfly she took the gold with a time of 31.72 and in the 200m individual medley she smashed her morning personal best by over three seconds to take the gold in 2:30.39.
