A community created display is back in a Moorlands town centre for Remembrance. A blanket of poppies created by the Creative Cheadle group, has, once again, been placed cascading down the MarketCross in High Street, Cheadle.
The striking artwork was initially created by a band of volunteers in 2018 to commemorate 100 years after the end of the First World War.
Dee Beardmore, who leads Creative Cheadle, said: “Cheadle’s poppies are back in place in the centre of town for the fourth year.
“Thank you to Gary Bentley, Natalie Staton and Lee for their help in getting them put up.”
