Cheadle Methodist Church remembers
Cheadle Methodist Church remembered those lost from last weeks Manchester attack where 22 people were killed and many others injured, by lighting 22 candles on Sunday 28th May.
During the morning service conducted by Rev Andrew Farrington and Dr Lynne Bradbury on Sunday, 22 candles were lit and a moments silence was held to remember those lost in the attack.
The service, which took place in the Communion area in the church included Wesley Hymns to mark the founder of Methodism, John Wesley, who felt his heart ‘strangely warmed’ in the housegroup in Aldersgate, London on 24th May 1738.
