A Moorlands man has donated more than £500 to charity.
Bill Stanley, a member of St Giles Lodge, raised the £505 by having his long beard all shaved off.
The charity challenge took place, before lockdown three began, at The Huntsman in Cheadle. Local hairdresser and DMH Ambassador, Duncan Cowans, did the honours of shaving off Bill’s beard.
The money raised has been divided between The Dougie Mac Hospice, the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Cheadle Health Centre nurses and the Cancer and Covid wards at the University Hospital North Midlands.
