Phil Routledge, who is Community Champion for Morrisons in Cheadle, spent the day going around a number of care homes in the area presenting flowers and fresh fruit to staff.

Phil said: “I had a busy day as Community Champion last week, firstly, Beech Lodge, then over to the Old Vicarage at Tean.

Then my travels took me to Bramshall to the Old Rectory then finally to Church Terrace back in Cheadle.

Each one received flowers and fresh fruit to help lift spirits as lockdown eases.

It was lovely to see everyone.”
