VILLAGERS are being asked to come up with ideas for a new community group in Tean.
Members of Great Wood Hall Committee are keen to launch a regular social gathering following a request from a resident in the village.
And they’re calling for people with thoughts about the new group to attend a meeting in the village next week.
Denise Wheat, secretary of the committee, said: “We’ve been approached by residents to ask if we could start a community group to meet at Great Wood Hall on a weekday afternoon.
“Perhaps a social meeting place for anyone in the parish who might be feeling lonely, stuck at home etc… something for people to look forward to each week where they can make new friends or meet up with old ones.
