A Moorlands couple have been brewing up to raise cash for charity.
Barry and Barb Callear hosted a fundraising event at their home in Cheadle.
Barry told the Times & Echo: “We did a Cancer Research UK Fund Raiser last Friday (September 3) at our home in Cheadle hosting an all day Tea and Cake event.
“Thank you to everyone who supported us and a special thank you to Carmen and Gra Alcock and Christine Beeby for their help on the day.
“We raised the tremendous amount of £750.”
We are the only family run, independent newspaper and magazine business in Staffordshire, established 1896. We are home to three weekly newspapers – The Cheadle and Tean Times (aka The Stunner), The Uttoxeter Echo and The Leek & Moorlands Echo.
